We would like to extend a big thank-you to students and parents/guardians for all your work during the past week! Next week, we will continue with remote tuition in accordance with the existing timetable. If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact your mentor or the teacher responsible.

Information: Wednesday March 18th

Tuition in accordance with the timetable
As far as is possible, remote tuition will follow the existing timetable. Students will receive all the information necessary for their courses from the teacher responsible via the relevant course room. If you cannot find the information about your course in Lärum, contact the teacher responsible by email (or however you usually communicate).

Attendance
Regardless of the circumstances, we want all students to be able to continue their studies as well as is possible. It is of great importance that you participate in all tuition and continue to take your responsibility seriously.

We also appeal to parents/guardians to help your children through this process, so that the tuition can continue as smoothly as possible.

School lunches
Those students who live in Umeå kommun and who attend one of the municipal gymnasium schools Dragonskolan, Forslundagymnasiet, Maja Beskowgymnasiet or Midgårdsskolan have the opportunity to collect a school lunch from selected local primary or gymnasium schools.

Information: Tuesday March 17th

Following Umeå kommun’s decision to follow the Swedish government’s recommendation that all gymnasium education shall be conducted remotely, we and our staff are now working on a plan to implement this. Our provision of education shall continue, although in a slightly different way. We appreciate that this raises many questions for both students and parents/guardians, but we will do our best to keep you informed about how this work is progressing. We will do this primarily via this channel – i.e. Lärum.

In order to be able to take part in the remote tuition, students must ensure that they have the following:
- a reliable school computer.
- a reliable internet connection.
- all necessary materials at home (charging cables, course literature, etc.).
- access to Google (via edu-mail) and Lärum.

How can I receive technological help or support?
